Kforce's client, a publicly traded Fintech in New York, NY is looking for an Accountant for their global headquarters in midtown. This is a company and a role where you will get exposure to everything: month end close, preparing financial statements, SEC reporting, internal reporting, etc. This is a flat organization and accounting group that does not have silos. Benefits are fantastic at this company. There is a hybrid work schedule. The company has tripled in size recently, so you would be joining a rapid growth enterprise. There is very low turnover at this company. This position is created by growth. Duties of the Accountant will include:
- Month end close
- Year end close
- Account analysis
- Account reconciliation
- Journal entries
- Accruals
- Internal reporting
- External reporting (SEC)
- Prepare financial statements
- Support audits
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- +1 years of experience
- Strong Excel skills
- CPA a plus
- Public accounting a plus
- Big company financial services experience a plus
